Hello! I’ve decided to use this blog for more regional and personal posts but I will include links to book posts at my other website, Your Book Group.
We are expecting quite the snow dump and frigid temps over the next day or so here in West Michigan. We are well below our cumulative snowfall for the season, so this is not necessarily a bad thing. I visited Holland State Park last night at / before sunset, and there is no ice on Lake Michigan at all, outside of the small amount of ice that has accumulated on the shore. See photos below.

Meanwhile, I’m reading the original and intriguing The Lady Jewel Diviner by Rosalie Oaks, featuring a tiny spinster vampire. Maybe I’ll finish it tonight while the snow flies. Hover over the title and click on the link to see my more detailed post on this very original and well-written novel.
Happy Snow Day!
