Greetings on this beautiful Michigan winter morning!
I’ve got my coffee, a cat on my lap – and I’ve got a few books going . . . .
I just finished The Ten Thousand Doors of January (Alix E. Harrow) and will review it after an online book discussion. This book was recommended by the booksellers at Schuler Books in Grand Rapids.
Meanwhile, I’m listening to Practical Magic (Alice Hoffman) which I got from the library, reading the Kindle edition of The Secret, Book and Scone Society (Ellery Adams), and in the evening, reading, Song of Bernadette by Franz Werfel, which I found used at a thrift shop – my favorite way to discover a book.
When I’m done with Practical Magic I will be listening to an advance reader copy of another audiobook that I am reviewing for Netgalley. I’m not sure what my next print book will be. It’s been a while since I read and reviewed a Michigan-focused book; maybe that wil come next.
Stay tuned for reviews of all of the above; they will be posted on my sister websibe, Your Book Group. (Hover over the words Your Book Group and click the link to visit.)
Stay warm and stay tuned!
